Where an earth do I start with this pair of crazies!!!

I first met Steph & Nick a few years ago at a wedding fair. Recently engaged whilst on holiday, they bounced over to me full of laughter and enthusiasm!

After chatting with them for quite some time it felt like we'd been friends for years and they declared I must capture their wedding day, I couldn't have been happier!

We saw each other a few more times in the run up to their big day at wedding fairs (they'd become wedding fair junkies I think!), it was lovely to meet Steph's parents Wendy and Steve at one of them too. Their engagement shoot was absolutely fantastic, they looked fab and totally threw themselves into it.

Upon my arrival at Barnsdale Lodge I found Nick & Steve blowing up helium balloons and making sure the venue was looking perfect. Steph and the girls were busy going to and fro between having their hair styled by super talented Gemma and her team at Glow (a boutique hair salon fabulously situated in the grounds of Barnsdale Lodge), and having their make-up applied in the bridal suite by Krystal Dawn.

The boys .... well .... the boys weren't quite so organised! All at varying stages of dress upon my arrival for groom prep, I waited for them to appear one by one to get some images of them ahead of the ceremony. I just love revisiting these photographs, they are full of mischief and laughs!

With a bridal party of 11 excitable family & friends the morning whizzed by and before we all knew it, it was time for Steph to slip into her stunning dress.

With her Mum and Maid of Honour, Alex, to help Steph ensure everything was just so, we had some time for final bridal prep portraits before seeing registrar. I adore these images! Steph looked absolutely stunning in the natural window light, she was so happy and radiant, I could have photographed her all day long.

After a ceremony filled with giggles (mainly from the bride) and Nick literally sweeping Steph off her feet everyone headed to the sun soaked courtyard for drinks. I love mingling between guests and capturing the hugs, greetings, clink of glasses and relaxed moments as people catch up with each other.

Their confetti tunnel was my most hilarious yet! Talk about embracing the moment, Nick was so into it Steph stopped him and told him off a short way through! Nick's Mum, Gill, and his Nan were waiting near the end to ensure the happy couple got a good covering!

We had plenty of time for some fun images with the bridesmaids, best man and ushers (and the Dad's) before everyone else headed inside, leaving Steph and Nick to enjoy having their couple portraits taken.

The speeches were spot on but poor Wendy took quite a lot of flack, having broken her wrist while on Steph's hen party in Madrid a few weeks earlier!

As their evening guests began to arrive, we popped outside quickly and grabbed 5 minutes of lovely evening light for some snuggly couple shots.

A twirling first dance complete with confetti canon kicked of the evening party. It was great to work alongside Rob of

again, I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough.

I hope you enjoy this selection of some of my favourite image from their day.

I'd like to say a massive thank you to Steph & Nick, Wendy & Steve and Gill & David for making me feel like a friend. Also big thanks to the bridal party and guests for being so welcoming to me.
