It makes me so happy to share this wonderful engagement shoot with you all.

Christina & Mike are getting married next April and wanted an autumnal pre-wedding shoot to take advantage of the fantastic array of colours nature gave to us this year.

I met them in a village on the outskirts of Cambridge on a seriously foggy morning. The village and the family farm in particular, are places Christina holds very close to her heart.

We spent a couple of hours wandering the farm tracks and local woodland making the most of the atmosphere the fog and dampness in the air were providing. Using the metal roller shutter doors and silos in the farmyard provided great contrast to the other locations. Christina's uncle arrived at the farm and offered to get one of the tractors out of the barn for us to use ..... oh yes!

Mike, being a keen photographer himself, rarely appears in any of the photographs they have at home so, it was great to have him in front of the lens rather than behind the camera!

If I can give my future brides and grooms any helpful advice for pending engagement shoots (and indeed your wedding day too) it is this; relax, be yourselves, hug each other, kiss each other, dance, banter, twirl and laugh.

This is exactly what Christina and Mike did and these are the stunning images they now have to keep forever.
