Welcome to my blog.
This is where you’ll find weddings and pre-wedding shoots.
The concept of the shoot was brought together by Alicia of Lily Jayne Florist at the beautiful new venue Aswarby Rectory, set in the Lincolnshire countryside.
A blank canvas, Aswarby Rectory offers many opportunities for the perfect wedding setting.
It was great to see Em & James again, it had been almost two years since they’d booked me!
We spent a couple of hours wandering along the beach at Old Hunstanton chatting and I loved hearing all about their plans for their Pentney Abbey wedding in June.
Becca and Steve live in Leeds and are getting married at stunning Pentney Abbey in early August.
They are super chilled out planning everything at a distance and popping down to visit family and suppliers in and around their home town of Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
Tuula & Henry are bery giggly, relaxed and totally in love. With their wedding being October and with very heavy rain forecast, we chatted about a wet weather plan and decided it would be a great idea for them to have a ‘first look’.
They had spent the morning together with family, Tuula’s family having travelled from Norway, setting up the marquee and sharing their excitement for the day ahead.
The styling of this wedding was stunning with the girls looking amazing in their flowing bridesmaid dresses and delicate white blooms to compliment the relaxed feel of the day.
As far as chilled out couples go, Natty & Paul are amongst the most laid back and friendly people I’ve ever met.
Steph and Nick … what can I say? They burst on to my wedding fair stand back in 2015 and we have not stopped chatting and laughing since!
This pair are so full of energy and it’s catching, with so much excitement to be getting married and planning the wedding of their dreams I was absolutely over the moon when they declared there and then I was to be their wedding photographer.
Bryony’s wedding dress was made by a VERY special designer ….. her Great Nan! Yes that’s right, this elegant dress, along with the intricate hand sewn lace flower overlay was over 50 years old and worn by her Nana on her own wedding day in the very same church Bryony & Chris were about to get married in.
South Farm was the perfect setting for the small wedding of Gemma and Dan, they were married during an intimate ceremony in front of their very closest family and friends.
The bond between this couple is something special, they’re not ‘just’ in love, they are true soul mates. It’s like one is not complete without the other and really is something to behold.
