After falling in love with my photography online and booking me several months before, I first met Monika & Andrew on their engagement shoot at beautiful Castle Acre, Norfolk.

Monika was a little nervous about having her photograph taken initially, whilst Andrew was quite looking forward to the whole experience! As we wandered and chatted, Monika began to relax and in no time at all was laughing like no one was watching.

This is the reason why I give engagement shoots with my full day wedding photography packages. It gives us the opportunity to get to know each other a little bit, I get to hear all about your wedding day plans which gives me a great insight into your personalities - plus you get a practice run in front of the camera!

Fast forward to their wedding day and Monika was as cool as a cucumber, surrounded by her family who had travelled all the way from Poland to be with her and Andrew to share their special day.

Amanda was busy working her hair and make up magic and we were joined briefly by the super lovely Beth of Beth Moseley Photography who was my wing woman for the day, before she headed off to catch up with the boys just a couple of miles away.

Arriving at St John The Baptist Cathedral in Norwich, looking breathtaking in her Maggie Sottero dress and with stunning flowers by Elizabeths, Monika simply couldn't wait to marry the love of her life and her father could not have looked more proud.

After a humorous and very personal ceremony including readings and translation from Monika's Maid of Honour; it was time for greetings, groups photographs and couple portraits around the cathedral grounds, before heading to their reception venue in Stoke Holy Cross.

Arriving at The Wildebeest Restaurant in a rather stylish VW camper Monika and Andrew were welcomed with rapturous cheering and clapping from family and friends.

The speeches were absolutely hilarious and even included a life size cardboard cut out of Andrew!

Truly excellent food followed along with ice cream by Ronaldo's before the cake cut, first dance and a seriously lively dance floor!
