Tuula & Henry found me on Instagram and I am so pleased they did!

The most chilled out couple award definitely goes to them for their incredibly relaxed autumn wedding at Rectory Farm. This beautiful countryside venue is perfectly situated on the outskirts of Cambridge and offers exclusive use of it's country house for the bride and groom and their guests.

I arrived to find Tuula and Henry in the marquee setting up table centres, place names and arranging the stunningly beautiful cake made by Tuula herself! Friends and family were on hand to help out, including some of Tuula's relatives who had travelled from Finland to celebrate with them on their special day! The Flower House were very busy ensuring the foliage for the marquee poles was looking perfect - just as the gorgeous bouquets and button holes were.

The big kid in Henry leapt out as he couldn't resist the garden swing en route to the house to get ready!

The house was bustling with activity! Hair and make up for lots of ladies was being carried out by super talented Sitting Pretty, guests were starting to arrive and a champagne lunch being enjoyed!

I was so excited to see Tuula's choice of outfit - an ultra stylish top and skirt combo by Belle & Bunty paired with stunning green L. K. Bennett heels!!!!

At our consultation meeting we had decided with a 2 o'clock ceremony planned, it would be a good idea for Tuula and Henry to have a 'first look' ahead of becoming husband and wife. This way if we ran short of time or daylight we knew they'd be sure to get lots of gorgeous couple portraits. As it turned out - what a great call this was!

I headed out to the beautiful gardens to ensure Henry was ready to see his future wife and he looked just marvellous in his kilt outfit! There were some lovely personal touches with Tuula wearing family jewellery and Henry having a shirt button from his great grandfather and cuff links from Tuula's grandfather.

They were so excited to see each other and could not stop smiling and laughing! We had a lovely time walking the gardens and then through to the beautiful fruit trees, capturing the connection and love this warm couple share.

We managed to dodge a rain shower on our way back, but the fine weather wasn't to last. Moments before Tuula & Henry were piped down the aisle, guests were asked to take a chair from the lawn indoors as the rain was threatening to get worse!

Their ceremony, confetti, welcome drinks and group shots all took place inside as the heavens opened for several hours. Not that it mattered, everyone was having such a wonderful time! The happy couple, best woman Felicity and good friend Raj gave hilarious speeches and fabulous food was enjoyed!

We popped back outside for a few atmospheric photographs before heading in for Tuula and Henry's first dance and a super crazy night of dancing to The Cunning Plan Ceilidh Band.

Thank you so much Tuula and Henry for asking me to capture your wedding day, thank you for trusting me and looking after me so well. Your family and friends were so welcoming to me too - what a truly fabulous day!
