Who you’ll get

I’M A PHOTOGRAPHER WHO ENJOYS HAVING HER PHOTO TAKEN

I know, it’s a shocker!

Throughout my early life, my Dad was always taking family photos and I guess that’s why I don’t mind it.

This helps me to pass on to you what I enjoy about having my photo taken and to help you to not only relax, but enjoy having your photograph taken.

What I’m doing when I’m not photographing weddings

CONTENT CONTAINS CATS, TRAVEL & YOGA

We love campervanning, backpacking and staying in character cottages. We are now venturing into the world of housesitting, I’ll let you know how that goes!

I love cheese and crisps, yoga and Scrabble, kayaking and wild swimming, steam trains and BTCC.

I walk a lot and love countryside living.

I like tin-top racing and have followed the BTCC for many years.

I enjoy being in my garden and I’ve set it up cottage style, including lots of flowers for pollenators. You’ll often find me there with our two cats, Buster and Blu.

Yoga is the only form of exercise that I show up for every week. I love the strength and balance it gives to me and this helps me massively with fitness for your weddings.

I have been teetotal for over a year, my energy levels and sleep quality are immense!

I KNOW WHAT IT’S LIKE TO PLAN A WEDDING

I married the man that built me a desk for my office at a moments notice, shares responsibility for our cats and keeps me in general good humour! I cannot explain to you how much fun you will have at your wedding. It is a fabulous and adrenalin filled day. I loved planning my wedding (oops, I mean, our wedding)! I’m happy to help you with your planning, if you need any assistance. Exploring life with Andy is the most incredible journey, which I love. Here we are soaking up a sunset in the Sahara Desert, Morocco.

When I became a wedding photographer

THE LEAP OF FAITH

I didn’t fit in at secondary school and I made my way into the world of work as soon as I could. I wanted to be independant and at the age of 16, I had no clue where it would lead. My background is 20 years of working in administration and finance.

To now be in a profession that I love and enables me to stretch my creativity, makes me unbelievably happy.

The administration experience gives me great organisational skills, which in turn, allows me to help you with aspects of your wedding planning.

I had been an aspiring nature and landscape photographer, when I came to realise how much I enjoy photographing people. It’s the moments that matter and I photograph from my heart.

My interest in photography escalated whilst travelling. We have made it possible to visit many places, including North and South Africa, Croatia, Denmark, Vietnam and we also love to holiday here, in our beautiful British Isles. Fine tuning the art of catching an expression and the desired light, as I wander towns and outlying villages, has become a part of who I am.
