Brasteds, Norfolk Wedding Photography
Confetti at Brasteds, Norfolk

I met Heidi and Marcus at their friends wedding and just 10 months later they were getting married themselves. I’d actually picked on Heidi a little bit in jest, for not smiling enough in the group photographs! A few months ahead of their wedding, we had a good chat via a Zoom meeting and they explained how nervous they were of having their photograph taken, but liked the way I’d made people feel comfortable and relaxed at Jade & Dan’s wedding.

We met at Castle Rising in Norfolk for their pre-wedding shoot, it was quite a chilly day so we did lots of walking to keep warm and squash all of those nerves.

Come their wedding day, they were cool as cucumbers! Not a care was given about me being around the whole day and we had some incredible laughs along the way.

The sun was shining, the flowers were absolutely incredible and everyone enjoyed an outdoor ceremony in the beautiful setting of Brasted’s lawn.

Their wedding reception was very relaxed, they had allowed lots of time for mingling, drinking champagne and eating canapes.

The speeches rolled into the wedding breakfast, then more mingling and laughter, couple portraits and first dance. Plus a Boris bashing pinata due to the stress he’d caused everyone in the lead up to the wedding!

The Friday before Christmas was a beautiful day to wander the garden at Emmanuel College, that means so much to Christine and Matthew. After a while walking, talking and having some couple portraits, it was time for them to read the personal vows that had written to each other. There wasn’t a breath of wind, everything was still as they exchanged words. A special time.
