What was it like working with Heather as your photographer?

It couldn’t have been more relaxed and she didn’t get in the way at all and she smiled the whole time which made us feel less nervous. We were really thrilled with the photographs and would thoroughly recommend her to everyone.

I would advise anyone who doesn’t feel very comfortable in front of the camera to do the engagement shoot with her. That way you get used to being photographed and get to know Heather, so when the ‘big day’ arrives you won’t feel so awkward.

How did the proposal go?

Jon proposed by the fire pit at the wedding of the friends that introduced us.

How did you choose your outfits and accessories?

I bought my dress on line, bridesmaids chose their own, groomsmen wore colour themed ties to go with flowers.

What made you choose your venue?

Cost and convenience.

How did you choose your suppliers?

Personal recommendations.

What were the most important things, the ones you kept coming back to during planning?

The small details, the extra touches that if they weren’t there wouldn’t have mattered, but that everyone notices and comments on.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

The smiles on everyone’s faces all day.

Do you have any tips or advice for other couples planning their wedding?

Write a list! If you are doing a lot yourselves, do as much as you can well in advance.Get at least two people, if not more, to help you set up and write a list of things you want them to do. DELEGATE!

Cambridge College Wedding

The Friday before Christmas was a beautiful day to wander the garden at Emmanuel College, that means so much to Christine and Matthew. After a while walking, talking and having some couple portraits, it was time for them to read the personal vows that had written to each other. There wasn’t a breath of wind, everything was still as they exchanged words. A special time.
