For couples who don’t like to pose

Hello, I’m Heather and I’m a Cambridgeshire wedding photographer. I specialise in natural and creative photography. I love to use light and composition to capture shots of your day that will be vibrant and full of life. People tell me that their photos remind them of how happy they felt on the day and how I captured the atmosphere.

Being a wedding photographer means I get to do lots of things that I love! I meet lots of people, travel to some amazing venues, listen to great music by some insanely talented bands; all while taking natural and colourful images for my couples.

About you and what you would like from your photos

You as a couple are unique. You fell in love in different ways and in different places. Maybe you got engaged whilst punting in Cambridge or on a picnic in the countryside. You prefer not to pose and you’re planning a relaxed day with family and friends, revolving around fun, love and laughter. You’d like a documentary photographer who will capture your day discreetly. Someone to cover all of the important moments, along with lots of candid shots of you and your guests. You would like a handful of formal group photographs of the people most important to you.

Chippenham Park Wedding

Welcome to Erika and Callum’s wedding; a day filled with lots of laughter, some tears and a lot of mickey taking by Erika when Callum got overcome with emotion and couldn’t read the vows he’d written to her. Did she hold his hand and look at him with love and support? No! She laughed, she laughed a lot!

Cambridge College Wedding

The Friday before Christmas was a beautiful day to wander the garden at Emmanuel College, that means so much to Christine and Matthew. After a while walking, talking and having some couple portraits, it was time for them to read the personal vows that had written to each other. There wasn’t a breath of wind, everything was still as they exchanged words. A special time.

Bassmead Manor Barns Wedding, Cambridge Wedding Photography

I’d met Charlotte and James at a wedding fair two years before they got married and they wanted to book me. They hadn’t even got a venue at this point!
We kept in touch and once they’d found Bassmead Manor Barns they booked us both!

Elton Hall Peterborough Wedding

Firefighters married at stylish black tie wedding at Elton Hall, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Chloe and Ben’s wedding was ace from start to finish and jam packed with so many things happening all day long.

Chippenham Hall wedding | Styled shoot

Chippenham Park has so many lovely possibilities to offer couples and I wanted to showcase these in differing ways around the venue.
This shoot came to mind from Dutch influences from my time spent with family in Holland.
Incorporating their national colour of orange and some Dutch couture, I wanted to create boho, sophistication, elegance, sexy and classy all at one venue.

Peterborough Cathedral Wedding

There were so many wonderful things about Alex and John’s wedding, I simply didn’t know what to include in this small preview!
I eventually decided the way forward is to celebrate these two wonderfully warm human being with lots of photographs of them doing what they did all day long; laugh like teenagers and embrace the people they love.

Cambridge barn wedding | Bassmead manor barns

Jenny had always wanted a crisp winter wedding and that’s exactly what she got!
She married Chris in the Rickety Barn at Bassmead Manor Barns and then we all headed out to the farm tracks for some awesome couple portraits and fun bridal party photographs.

I had been looking forward to Clare & Craig’s wedding since first meeting them back in 2016.
They have an amazing vibe between them, a great sense of fun and madly in love, plus they like a bit (quite a lot) of banter! Their wedding day was a total dream from start to finish!

The George Hotel Stamford Wedding

Jen & Stuart were married at The George Hotel in Stamford in front of their closest family and friends, including their super cute little boys Thomas and William.
After an extremely fun pre-wedding shoot which included Stu giving Jen a piggy back – and then Jen carrying Stu, I knew we were all in for a great day!

Childerley Barn Wedding

Childerley Long Barn is one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have ever had the pleasure of capturing a wedding at. The light streaming through the large window of the Victorian barn as Sophie and Will said I do was just magical.
