SUMMER WEDDING AT CHIPPENHAM PARK

Liv and Phil, what can I say! Chippenham Park was the perfect setting for your wedding, relaxing in the sunshine amongst your family and friends.

I don’t think Liv will mind me telling you that on the run up to her day she was queen of the question askers! Many texts and several emails later, here we are on her wedding day and guess what? She was as cool as a cucumber and laughed her way through the whole day!

WEDDING DAY PREPARATIONS

I arrived to find Liv, her parents and bridesmaids heading to the marquee to add the finishing touches to the tables.

Make up artist Lauren and hair stylist Amber, were on hand to make the whole bridal party look totally amazing. Lauren and bridesmaid Ella went to school with Liv and to hear them reminiscing about the antics they got up to was hilarious! The vibe in the bridal suite that morning was electric, with six very excited bridesmaids and lots of fizz!

Phil and his groomsmen arrived mid morning and I went to capture them getting ready, to my surprise Phil was really quite nervous. The nerves soon evaporated though once his friends kicked off the laughs and buttonholes were fixed into place.

Liv’s dad Tim was like a cat on a hot tin roof in the moments leading up to seeing his daughter ready to marry the love of her life. He was completely taken aback by just how incredibly beautiful she looked. 

WEDDING CEREMONY TO DANCE FLOOR

A relaxed ceremony by the lake with giggles all of the way through followed by drinks in the rose garden. Groups shots and couple portraits, all bathed in beautiful summer sunshine amongst the stunning grounds of this countryside venue.

Speeches before the meal had everyone is stitches. With a best man that’s your ‘third wheel’ in the relationship and a groomsman ganging up on you, you know you’re in deep trouble!

Liv popped to the bridal suite to change into a second dress that no one (except the girls) had any idea about! With this easy to wear number, her and Phil took to the floor for their first dance and then Liv and Tim laid down some serious moves to Madness!

I left this crazy gang dancing the night away. What a truly superb wedding day, family is so incredibly important to them and their bond as a couple with a sense of fun is apparent for the world to see.

Photographing at Chippenham Park is always a joy. Because from the moment you drive onto the estate via the tree lined driveway, you know you’ve arrived somewhere special.

NATURAL LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHS AT CHIPPENHAM PARK

This privately owned Grade II listed house sits within 300 acres of parkland and gardens. This means, although in close reach of nearby towns, it is secluded. Above all, this gives us lots of opportunities for photographs. For instance, the beautiful pathways, picturesque gardens and quaint bridges to meadows with long grasses dancing in the breeze.

CHIPPENHAM PARK’S BRIDAL SUITE

My heart always skips a beat as I enter this room with my cameras. The natural window light is amazing for your photographs and for your make up artist too! With such good lighting, I get to use my favourite lenses to create both close up and wide angle images of your bridal preparation.

GROOM PREP AT CHIPPENHAM

If you would like groom prep photos, Chippenham Park lends itself to this perfectly. With the converted potting sheds just across the courtyard from the main house. These luxurious rooms are wonderful, not only for relatives who would like to stay over, but also for the boys to get ready in before your ceremony. The gorgeous rose adorned exterior brickwork provides a stunning backdrop for photographs of the button holes being put into place.

LAKESIDE CEREMONY AT CHIPPENHAM PARK

This is such a romantic location. On the edge of the lake, it is a beautiful place for your guests to witness you saying your vows and becoming a married couple. You are able to thread your unique style through your day. You can ask your florist to decorate the lake house with flowers.

CHIPPENHAM PARK CONFETTI AND RECEPTION DRINKS

This Cambridge venue is extremely diverse and your lovely wedding planner Beccy, will organise your guests ready to shower you with confetti. This is a seriously fun part of your day. It can take place under the trees as you walk down the aisle through the meadow. Also, in the gardens or on the beautiful rose terrace, where you and you guests will be enjoying welcome drinks and canapes.

COUPLE PORTRAITS AND GROUP PHOTOGRAPHS

Chippenham Park is so versatile and I am always spoilt for choice about where to take my cameras to capture the newlyweds. If it is a very bright day, the sun diffuses beautifully through the horse chestnut trees, near the rose arbour along the shingle pathway. From here you can see the lake where you said ‘I do’.

THE CHIPPENHAM PARK MARQUEE

I love the appearance of movement in my images. The walk to the marquee is an ideal time for me to take documentary style photographs of you walking through the grounds, with the house as a splendid backdrop. This marquee is one of the lightest I have ever photographed in. It is so spacious I can move freely between the tables, capturing your guests reactions to the speeches.

CHIPPENHAM PARK IS MADE FOR DANCING!

This luxury venue transforms from daytime to evening seamlessly. After enjoying your wedding breakfast, drinks outside on the patio or lawn by the lake, it’s time to head inside for the first dance and boogie your way into the night.
